The Sunnybag POWERTAB is a solar panel and battery all in one. A 5 Watt SUNPOWER solar cell charges two cells with a total storage volume of 6,000 mAh via highly efficient power management. Fun fact: The same type of cell with the beautiful name 18650 is also installed in the bottom panel of the Californian Tesla models (Roadster and Model S).

With a high-quality output transducer, the 320g lightweight solar charger delivers up to 1.5 Ampere output current via the USB connection.To indicate the charging status, a 3-stage LED display is located on the front of the device. On the back you will find a handy 1 Watt strong light system.

This solar power bank is perfect for charging USB devices such as smartphones, action cams, tablets, digital cameras, smaller video cameras, GPS and satellite devices or music players in an environmentally friendly way while you are out and about.

The solar panel of the Sunnybag POWERTAB works best when it is inclined at a 90°angle to the sun. You can either connect your devices to the USB output to charge them directly or you can charge the built-in battery to use the energy later on. If the solar panel is positioned in full sunlight, it will charge a smartphone within 3 to 4 hours depending on the model. Larger devices, such as drones or tablets, take about 6 to 8 hours. In cloudy weather or when the orientation towards the sun is not optimal, the charging times increase accordingly.

Thanks to the new charging time display, no questions remain unanswered. The different colors on the LED display indicate how much power is being generated at the moment and how long it will take to charge a smartphone under these conditions. That is essential because the power output may vary considerably due to cloudy weather or changing orientation towards the sun. The Power Indication Color helps to understand and get the most out of your LEAF PRO.
